This 19th century trough is a unique piece given it's depth. Most antique stone troughs that were used on the farm to feed or water livestock tend to be long and shallow (we have several examples here) but this one has an unusual depth that makes for a great fountain or tree planter in the garden. Currently no drainage holes but could be added for planter use. Hand hewn, well weathered with nice patina.
Imported from France.
