Antique Carved Brownstone Obelisks. Substantial and rare 19th Century antique carved brownstone obelisks with heavy double nailhead band detail, strong horizontal detail with grand proportions. This pair of architectural elements stands over 5ft tall and is from a private villa in Reichenbach, Germany that was built in 1885 and demolished in 2011. German architecture was noted for its vigor and strong line. Beautiful patina and in very good condition given age and use.
