In 1850 P.T. Barnum brought over a Swedish opera singer know as Jenny Lind or the Swedish Nightingale for a tour of the United States. In order to fuel public interest in her he created several different lines of Jenny Lind memorabilia that featured her likeness. This product craze lasted until 1852. Another known Jenny Lind Antique Urn sits in the entrance of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston shown in the last picture.
